Open the door. Step into a story.
Tell your true tale or lean in and listen.
Be entertained. Be moved. Be heard.
Open mic, 5 mins, no notes, it happened to you.
First Friday of the month.
Doors open at 7.30pm, stories begin at 8pm.
Holgates Hotel, High Street, Woodend, Vic,
(that's in Australia, just in case, you're not from round here, the internet is a big place, sometimes you have no idea where you are).
This is an open opportunity for ten people to tell a five minute true story, without notes, and for the rest of us to listen.

To tell a story register by emailing me, or take your chances and rock up on the night and if there is space on the list, away you go.

Each night has a theme, themes are meant as prompt, guides, helpful for those of us stuck.  Feel free to be creative and think outside the box.

June 10, 2016 Theme: Boundaries
Prepare a story about boundaries, personal space, in your face, saying No; crossing the line, white line fever, nicking out of the school boundary.  Perhaps a time you had some lack of clarity about the boundary between you and your neighbours. Or maybe you were once a boundary rider.  Think wild and creatively, the theme is is just to get you going.
